1st Class were delighted to welcome their grandparents to school today. The rest of the school did some projects or art to mark the day.
6th class have been learning all about the Titanic this week. They have been busy reading, researching, creating artwork and solving mysteries!
Junior Infants are learning all about Home in aistear this month. Here are Ms. Faughnan's class.
Mr. Murphy's Senior Infants are doing the Construction Site in Aistear this month. Many thanks to our caretaker Dell for talking to the boys and girls about his many years experience working as a builder and carpenter on sites.
This year we had our first ever Assembly. The boys and girls heard from The Student Council, The Green School's Committee, the captains from the Football and Basketball teams. We also presented Gaeilgeoir na Míosa Certs to the boys and girls who made a special effort in speaking Gaeilge.
As part of our Christmas Week activities we did a Turkey Trot (or walk for the junior building) in Seagrange Park.
The boys and girls from the Senior Building continued our tradition of singing Christmas Carols in Supervalue, Sutton for a very good cause. Many thanks to all the parents for their generous support. |
