Ms Foley/Ms O Dowd’s First class enjoyed May Day and took part in a wild Irish flower nature trail.
They found so many native Irish plants and wild flowers in the school grounds including; fushia, dandelion, clovers, cleavers, wild garlic, daisy, pansies, hawthorne, ivy, nettles, primrose, speedwell, dog rose and many more. Do you know how to identify any of these plants or flowers and what you can use them for?! |
