Ms Foley and Ms O Dowd’s first class welcomed some very special guests for Grandparents' Day. The children enjoyed listening to what school was like for their grandparents, and they got to show off some of their work to them. The grandparents answered questions about their lives as children and enjoyed seeing the children's work and their classroom. Thanks for visiting us!
Ms Foley/Ms.O’Dowd’s First class and Ms.Walsh’s Fifth class came up with some wonderful Christmas capers for a Christmas story for Buddy Reading
Ms Foley & Ms. O Dowd's First Class created some beautiful winter polar bear art inspired by artist Ted Harrison for Christmas.
Merry Christmas to all Ms. Duggan's 4th Class have been using the Chromebooks to explore coding and programming through a programme called Scratch!
This week is Clean Air Week. Ms Crosse’s 2nd class carried out an idling survey on the cars around the school with Jennifer from Green Schools Ireland. We used balloons to see how we breathe and why it is so important to have clean air to breathe in!
We would like to sincerely thank the "Pakistani Golfers Ireland" for their incredible generosity in donating €10,000 to our school.

We were very lucky to be able to invite Darragh Greene back to our school to discuss the recent Olympic, where he represented Ireland in swimming. Go raibh maith agat.
Our 6th Classes were busy with artists Marie and Masha creating nature collage posters that will be installed in Seagrange Park in the coming weeks. They were very creative and interesting!
First class had great fun this week exploring 3D shapes. They worked very well in their groups building a cube out of lollipop sticks and clay!
Ms Fahey’s 6th class were exploring circuits with batteries, wires, lightbulbs and switches! They also explored insulators and conductors. What bright sparks!
First Class went bird watching in Baldoyle last week. We have been learning all about Brent Geese and their migration to Ireland every year. We spotted some brent geese, herring gulls, oystercatchers, robins, lesser black-backed gulls and many more birds. We had a great time bird spotting and enjoyed learning about the birds who live in our locality.
