Things might seem different or odd to us but that's OK. A scientist from ‘Anyone 4 Science’ performed a lovely workshop for 4th class this morning. They had a fantastic morning learning all about electricity and batteries. They learned all about voltage, circuits and conductors. The children even got to test and create some circuits and made batteries using tin foil, lemon juice, cardboard and coins.
2nd class created masks after a brilliant talk on myths and legends. Thanks to Sarah from the Heritage Council for the wonderful afternoon.
The Junior Building have been enjoying gymnastics on Wednesdays with Hannah from Arabian Gymnastics Baldoyle. First Class had some Halloween fun mixing materials in science this week. The witches and wizards cast some spooky spells. They mixed vinegar, baking powder and green food colouring together, and watched it bubble and fizz into a smokey potion!
