Senior Infants were recently learning about the Inuit people, and tried to build an igloo out of play doh.
Congratulations to Ms. Johnson's and Mr. Murphy's senior infants for successfully learning the 42 sounds taught in Jolly Phonics.

Ms Hanley’s class have been learning all about data. They visited Ms McGinn’s junior infants to survey them. When they came back to class they created a bar chart and tally based on their results
Yesterday we received our Cineáltas (kindness) flag from the Minister of Education Norma Foley.
We are one of the first schools in the country to receive this flag. It was sent as an acknowledgement of all our great kindness and friendship initiatives. Well done to all the boys and girls for showing such kindness to each other during anti-bullying week and all year round. Ms Motyer’s 3rd class practicing their multiplication, the boys and girls have been working really hard learning this new skill!
9 Kindles have gone home to boys and girls in 6th Class. Each child will have 3 weeks with the reading device to help promote interest in reading among our oldest students.
