Ms Hanley’s class have been learning all about data. They visited Ms McGinn’s junior infants to survey them. When they came back to class they created a bar chart and tally based on their results
Yesterday we received our Cineáltas (kindness) flag from the Minister of Education Norma Foley.
We are one of the first schools in the country to receive this flag. It was sent as an acknowledgement of all our great kindness and friendship initiatives. Well done to all the boys and girls for showing such kindness to each other during anti-bullying week and all year round. Ms Motyer’s 3rd class practicing their multiplication, the boys and girls have been working really hard learning this new skill!
9 Kindles have gone home to boys and girls in 6th Class. Each child will have 3 weeks with the reading device to help promote interest in reading among our oldest students.
We had a very busy Friday in St. Laurence's with the Junior Building Coffee Morning and Cake Sale, and with all the boys and girls dressing up in their halloween costumes.Congratulations to our Girls' Football Team who won the Corn Uí Neill in Croke Park today, where we played against Mount Sackville PS, Chapelizod.
