Book Week

This week the children will be taking part in a range of different activities to foster and promote literacy within the school.

• On Monday the children in both school buildings will take part in ‘The Big Book Quiz’.
• Tuesday’s activity will see the children of the senior school building go on a book trail.
• The centrepiece of our week will be on Wednesday when the children and teachers will dress up as their favourite book characters and take part in our monthly reading buddy programme.
• The writer of the ‘Arthur Quinn – Father of Lies’ series, Alan Early will visit the school on Thursday and the children in the junior school building will have their opportunity to go on a book trail in the school library
