On Friday the 7th of May we celebrated Intercultural Day in St. Laurence’s National School. The children and teachers dressed to represent their cultural background.
Some classes enjoyed a world music dance party, other classes paraded around the school waving the flag of their country, whilst some classes made food associated with different countries! The Junior Infant classes were busy learning some songs in different languages. We learned about inclusivity and embracing difference. We are all so proud of the diversity in our school! Well done to everyone for their wonderful efforts. Comments are closed.
